Amankora is not one hotel but five, strung across the Bhutanese valleys of Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey and Bumthang. You travel between them, and the journey is the point.
A Kingdom That Measures Happiness
Rammed-earth lodges with bukhari wood stoves, hot stone baths, and guided days among dzongs, monasteries and mountain trails. Bhutan limits visitors deliberately, and it shows in every valley.

Each of the five lodges is built in rammed earth in the local idiom, with a bukhari wood stove at the centre of the room and a hot stone bath to come back to. They are deliberately simple and deeply warm.
The Journeys
Amankora is designed to be travelled, not just stayed in. Circuits run across the western and central valleys, the longest visiting all five lodges, with guided days among dzongs, monasteries and mountain trails throughout.
