7 Nights · The Kohala Coast, the volcano, and the summit above the clouds.
One Island, Unhurried
Seven nights on the largest, wildest island, one refined resort on the sunny Kohala Coast to come home to, and the Big Island opening up around it: black-lava coves and clear turquoise water, the living volcano at Kīlauea, and the summit of Mauna Kea above a sea of clouds. You settle in once. We handle the rest. Gay-owned, and welcoming to all.

The dry, sunny northwest shore, where black lava fields run down to white-sand coves and the clearest water in the islands. This is where you stay, and where every day comes to rest.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where the earth is still being made: steaming craters, black lava fields, and, when she is awake, the glow of Kīlauea after dark. A full private day to the far side of the island.

Nearly fourteen thousand feet up, above the clouds and the weather, the clearest night sky on earth. Up for the sunset from the summit, and then the stars, before the drive back down to sea level.

The Classic · 7 Nights
Or, the same island at its most rarefied
The Kohala Coast at its most rarefied: an Auberge resort of open-air lava-stone pavilions at the water's edge, with a hushed, barefoot luxury that feels like nowhere else in Hawaii.
Open-air lava-stone pavilions right on the water, ancient fishponds and petroglyph fields across the grounds, and the quiet, barefoot Auberge hand on everything, the Kohala Coast at the very top of the market.

Good to Know
The Kohala Coast is the driest, sunniest corner of Hawaii, good in every month. December to April brings the humpback whales just offshore; high summer brings the calmest, warmest water.
The volcano and the summit keep their own hours, and are worth doing in any season.
A private car meets your flight at Kona and runs you up the Kohala Coast, and your guided days to the volcano and the summit come with a driver of their own. It is a big island; we make it feel small.
Because we book on the Signature rate, you arrive to daily breakfast, a hotel credit, and a room upgrade when one is available, perks worth having, layered on top of a trip we plan end to end.
Gay-owned · Welcoming to all
Elevida is gay-owned. We build the trip we would want for ourselves: the right resort, every transfer and guided day handled, and the kind of details you only know to ask for once you have been. Tell us your dates and we will shape the Big Island around you.
