The Region

The Far South

The great expedition coast. Voyages thread the Chilean fjords, round Cape Horn and land you in Ushuaia or Buenos Aires, with Antarctica a step further for the ambitious. At the other end of the continent, Lima opens the door to Cusco and Machu Picchu, which we build in as a land chapter before or after the ship.

When to Sail

November to February

The austral summer, and the season for Patagonia, Cape Horn and the fjords.

October and March

The shoulder weeks. Quieter ships at the edges of the season, with the weather still on your side.

May to September

The dry months in the Andes and the best of Machu Picchu, which we often pair with a later sailing.
