Featured Voyage
Twelve nights from Sydney through New Caledonia and Vanuatu, a corner of the South Pacific that sits a long way from Tahiti and feels nothing like it. Uninhabited Mystery Island, the wrecks and blue holes off Luganville, two full days on Efate for Port Vila, and Lifou in the Loyalty Islands on the way home. This is the accessible way into these waters, on a large modern ship rather than a small one.
All Included from $2,594 per person · veranda from $3,187 · solo from $4,289
Worth Knowing First
Celebrity Edge carries around 3,260 guests. This is a mass-market ship, not the small-ship luxury we usually place. We include it because no other line we work with reaches these islands, and because a big ship genuinely suits some travellers.
A private suite enclave within the ship, with its own restaurant, lounge, sundeck and butler service. If you want the ship without the crowd, this is where we would put you. Sky Suites from $4,749 per person.
The Journey
Board in Sydney and sail out past the Opera House in the late afternoon, the city falling away behind the stern as the ship turns north for the Coral Sea.
France in the tropics. A working Melanesian capital with French bakeries and a lagoon so large it is UNESCO listed. The Amedee lighthouse and its reef sit an hour offshore.
Nobody lives here. Islanders cross from neighbouring Aneityum for the day, and the whole island is a ring of white sand and clear shallows you can walk around in under an hour.
The largest island in Vanuatu, and one of the great wreck dives on Earth in the SS President Coolidge. Above water it is Champagne Beach, blue holes and a wartime history still lying in the shallows.
The capital, and the ship gives it two full days. Efate has the country’s best markets, the Blue Lagoon, and the only genuine restaurant scene in Vanuatu. Two days is what makes it worth the stop.
A raised coral atoll with limestone cliffs, vanilla plantations and the clearest water of the voyage. Tendered, quiet, and the last island before the run south.
Real sea days on the run home. On a ship this size that is not idle time, it is where the dining rooms, the Retreat sundeck and the Magic Carpet earn their place.

The Fare
One fare, most of it in. Here is exactly where the line sits.
We quote Celebrity one way only: the All Included fare. Classic drinks, wi-fi and all gratuities are in, alongside your stateroom, all main dining, room service, entertainment, the pools and port taxes. No drinks packages to bolt on later, no tip envelope maths.
Speciality restaurants, premium drinks, spa and shore excursions remain a la carte, and air from the United States is the largest single cost on this trip. We price the whole journey, air included, before you commit.
Your Ship
A large, modern ship with a genuine suite enclave inside it. Know which of those two things you are buying.

Edge is the ship that introduced the cantilevered Magic Carpet and the Infinite Veranda, where the whole window drops to turn the cabin into an open balcony. The Retreat is the part we would steer you to: a separate suite complex with Luminae restaurant, a private lounge and its own sundeck, effectively a small ship living inside a large one.
