The Falkland Islands

Two days at sea bring you to the windswept Falklands, where king and gentoo penguins crowd white-sand beaches and the little capital of Stanley feels like a corner of England set adrift in the South Atlantic.

Antarctic Waters

The ship turns south into the realm of ice. Days of scenic cruising past Elephant Island and into Admiralty Bay: tabular icebergs, glassy black water, and whales surfacing in the cold, clear light at the bottom of the world.

Cape Horn & the Drake Passage

The most storied headland in the world. The Mariner rounds Cape Horn, where the Atlantic and the Pacific collide, and the legend of every sailor who ever came this way suddenly feels very real.

Ushuaia, the End of the World

The southernmost city on Earth, ringed by the snow peaks of Tierra del Fuego. A day for the Beagle Channel, the Patagonian forest, and the little steam train that runs to the edge of the wild.

Patagonia & the Chilean Fjords

Punta Arenas, then two unhurried days of scenic cruising through the Chilean fjords, walls of blue glacier calving into still water, before the green calm of Puerto Montt and the Lake District.

North to Lima

Up the Pacific coast, with a call at San Antonio for Santiago and the Casablanca wine valley, then quiet sea days to Callao. Disembark in Lima, the elegant, food-obsessed capital on the Peruvian coast.
